My Sensei Bill

I had last seen Bill a year ago at the Lakeview Hockey Dance so when we met at a gathering just 2 1/2 weeks ago, we had a good long talk. We naturally talked about Karate and a lot of things including our health and age. Bill said "I can still do the splits but I cannot believe I'll be 70 next July". Little did we know it is not to be. I am truly thankfull Bill and I had that timely talk. I am also gratefull for all his teaching and training. I'm sure anyone who trained and sparred with Bill also learned the no nonsense approach that leaves you with the confidence to stand tall and fear no one.If you didn't get it you wouldn't last long yet many times you would know he was going easy on you. Looking back to 33 through 45 years ago, it seems like yesterday. It was great times with Ron Tkacz, Ernie and Fred Marcucci and many others. The sport makes bonds like a band of brothers. He will be missed by many. My God Bless you Bill.
