Remembering Bud

I would like to send a message of sympathy to Jeff, Russell and Karen who were my neighbors and my friends growing up in the Sherway area. My parents were good friends with both Sylvia and Bud, and we had some great times hanging out, swimming and having a BBQ. There were so many kids in the neighborhood that were close in age and in the summer we played until the streetlights came in, and Russell and I built snow forts in the winter until we got frostbite. Bud was always a warm & kind person to me, and I remember how he spent countless hours in his free time building boats in the side yard. Both bud and Sylvia always welcomed me into their home and I loved going over there and hanging out. Bud...I hope you and my dad have done some storytelling in heaven. I'm so sorry this took so long to post and that I missed the celebration but I've been dealing with a family member with terminal cancer who passed recently. I would have loved to see everyone.
