Trevor Haws

I have just learned of Mr. Corbett’s passing, and wish to offer my sincerest condolences to his close friends and family. Bob built two unique and wonderful homes for my late parents, Donna and Don Haws: the first, at 2220 Parker Drive, in Mississauga in 1968 (called Cooksville then); the second, on the Tenth Line of Erin in 1974. I was very young, but l clearly remember Mr. Corbett as a soft-spoken, good-natured, and highly skilled gentleman. Our family still enjoys the Erin residence (“Windsong”) to this day. I retired recently, and enjoyed a carpentry career operating my own company, too. Although we lost touch with “Bob” over the years, there were many times l thought fondly of him — his quiet professionalism, attention to detail, good humour, and remarkable craftsmanship. Mr. Corbett deserves utmost respect for being a true example of a life well spent. With deepest sympathy, Trevor Haws
