Condolence: Dear Gerry, My heartfelt sympathy is extended to you at the passing of your dear wife and mother, Yvonne. I have many found memories of visiting and being with Bonnie on Major street at family gatherings. She was a kind, wonderful and a delightful person. God rest her soul. Iam sorry to inform you that my dear wife Lorraine died April 22, we were also married in 1960. P.S. I was not aware that Jeanette had died. When did she pass? My prayers are with you and your family.

Condolence: The first time I met Yvonne, I realized who Lori got her beautiful smile and kind-hearted nature from... Her picture above is reminiscent of how beautiful Yvonne was, inside and out. She and Gerry made such a lovely couple and were always an absolute pleasure to be around! I wish I could be there with you tomorrow, but please know you will all be in my thoughts. My sincere condolences to Gerry, Lori, Garry, Mike and your families for the loss of your beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. May her memory always be with you. Much love, Sue xoxo

Condolence: My sincere condolences to the Boland family. Mrs. Boland was the most friendliest neighbour on the block! She was beautiful, in every sense of the word. Always with this joyous smile and a loving mode of speaking and doing things that was hers alone. The most vivid memory I have, apart from a voice floating across our backyards when she would speak to a family member or call for a dog to come in, is her standing in our kitchen one afternoon. I see her face, her smile , the wonderful way she was interacting with my mom (patience was her virtue!) and I remember thinking what a truly beautiful person Mrs. Boland is. Though she isn't here with us anymore, she will live in all of our memories, in her teachings and in the love she shared with anyone she came into contact with. Good bye Mrs. Yvonne Boland. May peace be with you.

Condolence From: John Pendergast and Frank Pendergast
Condolence: I'm so saddened to hear about Yvonne's passing. I have such fond memories of Yvonne Boland volunteering at St Francis grade school, Kitchener. She seemed to be on all of our school trips to Laurel Creek and we all loved Mrs. Boland. I had the privilege to witness what a fine job Yvonne and Gerry did raising Garry who was, and is, a much-respected teacher and role model of the St. David Catholic Secondary community here in Waterloo. We wish you comfort during this sorrowful time and Pendergast family prayers are with the family and friends of Yvonne as we mourn this wonderful lady.

Condolence: Dearest Uncle Gerry, Garry, Lori, Michael and families, None of us are going to have the memories of Auntie Yvonne that you do. But we do have memories of our families getting together and celebrating the joys of the LaFlamme kinship. Remembering family reunion picnics, visiting your home on Westmount Road and dancing to Uncle Gerry's piano music and Auntie Yvonne's smiling and welcoming embrace will stay with us all for a long time. As the last sibling of our Dad's family to move on we have planted a tree in the LaFlamme family memory. Let's think of the roots symbolizing each one of us touched by the gifts of love and life lessons left behind by Auntie Yvonne and her siblings. We are the roots of the tree--holding that precious DNA and imparting the very fibre of what makes us special to our offspring. Wherever we are, even when we can't come together--as roots of one tree we are all one. Know that we are with you and our hearts are full of love and support for you now and in the days to come. It is our deepest wish that Auntie Yvonne will rest peacefully. Thinking of you, Dave, Joanne, Christopher, Cameron and Fiona xoxox

Condolence: To dear Uncle Gerry, Garry, Lori, Mike and the whole Boland family, I wish so much we could all be together with you to celebrate the beautiful life of Aunty Yvonne. I have so many vivid memories of growing up with her calm and loving presence - family reunions at Waterloo Park, Christmas parties at our house, Saturday's spent at your house, bbq's in the backyard at Uncle Jack's, and squeezing into Grandma's apartment. In my memory, Aunty Yvonne was always the cherished baby sister of brothers that loved to tease while she loved to laugh. I can almost hear my Dad calling her "Little Vonnie"! They are all together again. Remembering her wonderful and gentle soul will remain forever in my heart. May she Rest In Peace. My deepest sympathy and love. Lisa.

Condolence From: Kathy Ryan
Condolence: Sending my sincere condolences to Gerry (whom I still want to call 'Mr. Boland'), Lori, Garry, Mike and your families. My heart aches as I remember a special woman who made such an impact on my early life. Yvonne became a touchstone, for me, of caring warmth and positivity. I've never forgotten how she welcomed me into her home so many times over the years. I remember her cooking and giggling at her kids' banter; I remember her planting red geraniums; I remember her wise words ... This sadness is made a little sadder by the fact that we can't gather to celebrate Yvonne's life. I'm thinking of you all, Kathy
