Tom will join in heaven, his Mom and Dad, Hilda and Joseph Kelly. Also waiting for him will be his brothers, Joseph and twin-brother, John. Also waiting for him will be his sisters, Patricia, Hilda, Teresa and Margaret.
Tom retired from the Peel Regional Police Department in 1989. He served as a proud police officer for 31 years. He treated everyone he worked with and even those on the other side of the law, with the utmost respect. He was known for his kindness and the way He always found the good in all people! If Tom was not working or spending time with his family, you would find him on the ice playing hockey or just skating. He played for the police team and various other leagues. He played organized hockey until he was 78 - he just absolutely loved the sport! His other great love was music. He was known for saying, “Just let the man sing!” Music made the walls shake at our Jumna Avenue home!
The family wants to thank all the caregivers at Riverside Glen in Guelph. Words cannot express how truly wonderful these people have been. He spent time in many of the different areas of Riverside - where he was touched by these angels who took care of him everyday!Thank You!

Tom loved Christmas and with it being only a short time before Christmas, we ask that any donations be made to your local Food Bank. It has been a tough year for so many people, so let us, in Tom’s name try to help the less fortunate.
