It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia Joyce Northey (nee Ditchburn) born in Swansea, South Wales. She passed peacefully on Saturday, September 12th at the age of 86 with her beloved husband of 64 years by her side after a long and brave battle with Parkinson’s disease.
She will be greatly missed by her devoted and caring husband, Bernard; her children Patricia (Greg), Haydn (Colleen) and Keith (Kelly). Her grandchildren will miss Grandma’s cwtches – Ryan (Judy), Madison, Adam, Austin, Nicole, Shannon, Megan and Lisa.
Joyce will be remembered for her pearls and the great pride she took in her appearance. But above all her family was everything to her. She would say we were the jewels in her crown.
