Passed away peacefully with family by her side at The Village of Erin Meadows in Mississauga on Wednesday, December 19th at 80 years of age.

Beloved mother of Andrea, Patricia and Jonathon. Mother-in-law to Michael and David. Proud nana to Caitlin, Chloe, Mathew and Megan. Loving sister to Judie and aunt to Mimi, Leigh, Jason and Carol. Great aunt to Selina and Lauren. Dear daughter of the late Eileen.

Susan was born in Surrey, England and spent her childhood by the sea in Sussex. At the age of 19, she sailed to Canada and settled in Winnipeg, eventually raising her three children there.
Her love of gardening led her to a management career in interior landscaping. She had a particular love of orchids, growing them in her own business. Susan eventually moved to Toronto to be near her family.
She loved the arts and was passionately involved in her son Jonathon’s career in the theatre, producing and stage managing professional productions. Susan also had an adventurous love of travel leading her to Australia, Europe, across North America and back home to England.

The Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 22 at 1:00pm at Trinity-St. Paul Anglican Church, 26 Stavebank Road, Mississauga.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society, Peel Region.
