Condolence: My deepest sympathy to you Bernie on the passing of your beloved Bob. We read with sadness in the Free Press today and my heart went out to you. I remember with such fondness our times in Pinawa and have thought of both of you over the years. Bob was such a kind and thoughtful man and very suited to his profession in HR. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Condolence: Memories there are many. Staying with Bob and Bernadette for a weekend in Montreal, celebrating my daughters fourth birthday in Nova Scotia and teaching her how to eat the dozen lobsters he bought home for supper, an expensive taste she instantly acquired. All the golf trips to North Carolina and Florida and the curling trips to Port Perry and Bancroft and drinking single malt from the special broom. One cannot forget his infamous “Helicopter” shots in both sports. Rest In Peace my friend

Condolence: Bob will be missed by his Probus friends, especially those in the PRISMS group. He was smart and good natured, keen to participate in the monthly sampling of single malts. Others will have more to say about his contribution to Probus, but I can say that he will be especially missed at PRISMS.
