Condolence: I was deeply sadened to get the news of Aunt Norine’s passing. I was so fortunate to have lovely visit with her this spring. As always, the warm and charming hostess that I admired all through my childhood. We shared many memories and talked about her new passion for art. I was so taken and touched by her reproduction of a Caribbean post card I had sent her a few years earlier and so inspired to see her taking on this new adventure. Still so sharp, as I confessed my childhood crimes of climbing on her kitchen counter when no one was around to steal cookies, she reminded me that I had already confessed to this act many years ago and that of course she always knew in the first place! My fondest family childhood memories are of Aunt Norine an Uncle John, although we did not see much of each other over the years I have aways carry them in my heart.

Condolence: It is with sadness that I have learned of Norine's death. During my ministry at Christ Church, I shared many meaningful occasions with the Flewwelling Family, and enjoyed numerous visits with John and Norine---both in their home, and more recently in their condo home. My contacts with John and Norine continued even after my retirement because I was blessed to be able to call them my friends, and I was grateful to continue the journey with them. Only a few months ago, I was entertained by Norine in her suite on Lakeshore Road. While it was not appropriate to visit with John at that time, he was certainly part of our conversation that afternoon.

I extend my sincere condolences to the Flewwelling Family as they celebrate Norine's life and honour her presence in their midst. Unfortunately, I will be out of town on June 29th, and must rely on this method of expressing my sympathy and sense of loss.
