Michael Victor  Zardo
Michael Victor Zardo, age 62, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 26th at Credit Valley Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born on May 26th, 1957, at St. Joseph's hospital in Toronto, to Agnes and Ernesto Zardo, of Mississauga.
He was a proud and dedicated employee of The City of Mississauga's Parks and Recreation department in various capacities over the course of his 30 year career.
Michael truly lived life to it's fullest, through simple pleasures; most deeply revolving around the outdoors, with a passion for hockey and the Toronto Maple Leaf's, well known by everyone who had the pleasure of making his acquaintance.
As an avid lover of all things golf, after graduating from Guelph University, he proudly caddied throughout North America, touring with some of the sports greatest. The Canadian Open provided him with many of his life's lasting and meaningful friendships and memories.
Michael is survived by his son, Adam; daughter, Jennifer (James); proud grandfather to Carson and Hannah, brother to Gildo (deceased) and sister-in-law Debbie, brother to Ernie (deceased), brother; John, and countless friends.
Friends and family, and anyone who had the pleasure of being touched in some way by his kindness, are invited to attend a memorial visitation held at Skinner and Middlebrook Funeral Home; 128 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga, on Friday July 5th from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Funeral mass on Saturday, July 6th at 1pm at St. Mary of the Sea Catholic Church, with a celebration of life to be held at his home to follow. Directions to celebration of life will be provided at both locations for all who would like to attend.
