Obituary for Marion Graham

Graham, Marion Rita - Passed away peacefully in her 102nd year at Mississauga Credit Valley Hospital on December 28, 2022. She was predeceased by her brothers Ted and Bill, sisters Leona and Frances and nieces Anna and Ann. She is fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Paul, Mary Ellen, Colleen, Ted, Jane, Teresa and Joan and by her great nieces and nephews Tony, Katie, Sammy, Jamie, Shannon, Mary and Jodi.

Marion started her working life with Scotiabank, and later worked at Canada Colors & Chemicals for more than thirty years.

Marion will be remembered for her joyful and fun spirit. In her leisure time and retirement years, she loved spending time at her beloved cottage, travelling, and participating in many sports (badminton, tennis, golf, curling and lawn bowling). She was a member at the Boulevard Club in Toronto for more than forty years. She was an avid bridge player and even tried her hand at amateur theatre after she retired.

To our ever-lovin’ aunt – we will miss you… and will never forget the “thirty purple birds”!

Funeral mass will take place at ST. MARY STAR OF THE SEA CHURCH, 11 Peter Street, Mississauga (Port Credit) on Wednesday, January 11th at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place and a private burial will be attended by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations to two of Marion’s favorite charities is appreciated: St. Michael’s Homes or Covenant House, Toronto.
