At the age of 91, Manuel Costa passed away on October 24th in Mississauga, Ontario after a long battle with Parkinson’s and dementia. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Rosa Costa, his son, Carlos Costa and wife Judite Costa, his grandchildren, Joyce Costa, Philip Costa and Hannah Elston and all his extended family and friends who loved him dearly.

Manuel will always be remembered for his strong integrity, hard working character, intelligence, creativity, infectious sense of humour, caring nature and his enduring love for his whole family. Proud of his Portuguese heritage, Manuel understood the importance of putting his family first and cherishing all the moments that life had to offer. Known for his generosity, Manuel touched many lives, as he was always willing to give a helping hand to whoever was in need.

A devoted father, husband, grandfather, uncle and friend, Manuel will truly be missed, as he now joins his precious daughter, Rosa Elston, in heaven.
