Obituary for Mae Edmond Voyce

Mae Edmond Voyce
Mae Edmond Voyce

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Mae Voyce. Mae died in the early evening of April 25, 2019, at the age of 100, surrounded by her loved ones.

Mae was born in 1918 to her parents Charles and Mary in Etobicoke, Toronto, where she also met and married her husband Charles Voyce. Mae enjoyed many aspects of her full life, including travel, gardening, sewing, socializing with friends, volunteering at the local hospital, and spending time with her beloved dogs. Yet, it was family that brought her the greatest joy. She never missed a birthday, a family gathering, her grandsons’ hockey and baseball games, or an opportunity to visit with loved ones.

Mae is survived by her son David and her grandsons Stephen and Justin. She was predeceased by her husband Chuck, and was the last of the Glenn sisters, Nancy, Kay, Jessie, Helen and Marg.

She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by her son, her grandsons, in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends, and the many other people her gentle and loving soul touched over her lifetime. Her kind heart and ever tender spirit will leave a lasting impression.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to your charity of choice.
