LYNNE ARLENE HAWKSWORTH

March 21st, 1943 – July 15th, 2019

Lynne Hawksworth, aged 76 passed away peacefully at Mississauga Trillium Hospital with her family by her side.

Lynne was born to the late Leigh and Jean Speakman on Sunday March 21st, 1943 in Toronto, before her family relocated to Port Credit at the age of 14. She married the late William “Skip” Thomas Hawksworth on October 20th, 1962 in Mississauga. Lynne is survived by her two brothers, Leigh (Greet) and Larry (Dianna) Speakman. She is also survived by her three children; Jason (Linda) Hawksworth, Craig (Laura) Hawksworth and Kyla Hawksworth. She was a loving Grandmother (Granny Lynne, GaGa) to Alexa, Ethan, Leigha, Brooke and Brody Hawksworth. Countless cousins, nephews, nieces and extended family were always on her mind as experienced with her comments and likes on FaceBook and Instagram.

Lynne excelled in her three careers, first as a legal secretary, third as the Controller at Freeway Limited, but second and most important, her accomplishment as a stay at home Mom.

Family and friends from near and far were always welcomed with open arms with a “doors always open policy”.

With this in mind: A celebration of Lynne’s life will take place on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 1:00pm at Skinner and Middlebrook Funeral Home.

Memorial donations to Camp Oochigeas would be greatly appreciated.
