Obituary for Kirk Bradley Dowdall

Kirk Dowdall Born July 4, 1961 -
Died December 19, 2020.

We are greatly saddened to announce the sudden and unexpected passing
of Kirk Dowdall on Saturday December 19th, 2020. Kirk is survived by his
parents Norman and Christina Dowdall, his daughter Taylor Dowdall and her
partner Frank Ruggieri, Kirk's sister (predeceased) Heather Sheppard. Kirk
will also be greatly missed by his brother-in-law Richard Sheppard and his
wife Lisa, his nieces Amber Bucaro and her partner Kyle Bridgman and their
son Nate, Hayleigh Bucaro and her partner Grant Lambo and their son Grant
Junior, Kirk's good friend Debi Kase Taylor's Mother, his Aunt Joan McLean
in Nevada, his Uncle David Alarie, and many cousins in Canada and the United
States.
Kirk's daughter Taylor meant the world to him. He would do anything for her
within his means. He loved her so deeply and was so very proud of all of her
accomplishments.
Kirk was born in Niagara Falls, On.. He moved to Mississauga with his family
and spent his youth in Applewood Hills. He graduated from Applewood Heights
Secondary School. He was very fond of sports. He played six years of hockey
in the M.T.H.L. where he made a lot of good friendships. He liked to fish, play tennis,
playing golf and playing the drums. He loved rock music and going to concerts
to see his favourites.
He worked in the Car Business and as a Refrigeration Technician on trucks.
His love for cars took him to be a real fan of NASCAR, whether he was repairing.
selling, detailing or watching cars race on T.V. He was a real fan of Earnhardt #3 or #88.
He also loved to cook and was so good at it. He could take leftovers from the fridge
and make the most amazing dish or meal.
He had a great sense of humour and quick wit. He loved people and enjoyed being
around people. He loved dogs and found them to be such good companions. Where
he went they went, seldom would he be anywhere without his beloved pet dog.
Kirk passed away in Acton, On . His forever kind heart and helping soul will be truly
missed. Rest in Peace. Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will take place possibly in 2021, when Covid 19 restrictions allow.
