Obituary for Joyce Elaine McLeod
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sweet and fun loving mother on December 10, 2020.
Joyce was the wife of Erle Rae McLeod (predeceased). She will be greatly missed by her daughter Erlene, son in law Rick and good friend Muriel Clarke.
She was born Joyce Elaine Taylor in Barbados. After marrying Erle, they moved to Montreal, Canada where their daughter Erlene was born.
Joyce worked for Bell Canada for over 27 years, where she reached senior management level and became part of the Pioneers Club upon her retirement in 1984.
Joyce and Erle later moved to the Cornwall area, where they built a home in 1988. Joyce became an active volunteer at Sandfield Place retirement home in Cornwall. She was also an active member of the First Baptist Church.
In 2013 Joyce moved to Streetsville to be close to her daughter Erlene.
