Condolence: Our sincere condolences to all of the Kelly family, in loss of such a great mam.
My mother Marion Kelly Newman was always so very proud of her Kelly cousins..John for his many accomplishments in the community and beyond...and all were gifted with great Irish looks and pride in their Irish heritage.
I so enjoyed hearing John's tales of the Kelly family long ago in Ireland..related to him by his father...I will do my best to keep those tales going on.
Nancy..a beautiful tribute to your father..

Our sincere condolences
God Bless
Donna and John Kay

Condolence: John was my first S/Sgt at the old Port Credit 11 Div. Because I was a young officer, John gave me career advice and personal advice as well....buy real estate was a big one! I have remembered John fondly over the years. He was a fine, fair man who cared for his men deeply. My condolences to his family and friends on the loss of this great man.

Condolence: My deepest sympathies to the Family.

Uncle John, such a strong, loving gentleman you were. You will be remembered for always including my mother Millie in everything you did. For always caring for her and my welfare, always asking if we were okay and if we needed anything. You were there like a rock for me after my mother's passing. We mourned her together and had deep and long talks about the life that you, Mom, and Auntie Mary enjoyed over the last years.

Thank you also for your guidance, and your suggestion that I put my son Michael into the cadet service you started when I had some trouble with him as a teenager. Without your guidance, he might never have joined this wonderful organization, and never would have turned out half as well as he did today.

I will miss our Christmas breakfasts. Oh my goodness could this house get any louder? Card games with you Mom and Auntie Mary all yelling that the other was cheating. Me slapping at your hand when you were trying to peek under the card deck to see which one was next LOL. You and your Santa apron and hat that I bought you for when you were always cooking Christmas breakfast. Nobody was allowed to do the eggs but you and everybody had to be out of the kitchen while you were working. Me joking that you were demanding this so that you could poison us all lol. Your eggs always turned out perfect and we survived.

I will miss you checking in on me every time you saw me and making sure I was okay. Always asking me if I had enough money for what I needed. I was always okay, and never needed to take you up on your generous offers, but to know that you were concerned about about me, meant the world to me. For always making sure that " that young man of yours was taking care of you and treating you properly". Thank you.

I will miss our long talks, even though at times they would get into heated debates about life in general in today's society, and especially how he heated our debates would get over anything to do with Cuba. You drove me crazy, and I drove you crazy. We argued about it these things knowing that we were doing it with love and a strong differences of opinion.

Always there to give advice, or to listen, or to laugh, or yes... to argue about things in life. I always knew I'd have a good and entertaining conversation with you!

You truly were a favorite Uncle to me. And you will be sorely missed.

I love you Uncle John.

Condolence: So sorry to the entire family for your loss. John was like a father to me and his passing has touched my heart deeply. Memories will be reflected upon with big smiles and a lot of laughter. His smile and strong presence touch my life in such a way that lessons learned are not forgotten. In heaven you can sing with Brian. Just tone it down a bit so he can be heard. LOL... Love you, miss you, PAULA xox ❤️🙏❤️

Condolence: To family and friends. I am so very sorry for the passing of John Kelly, it is always hard to lose someone special. It may be comforting to know that our God Jehovah is also saddened by death and even Jesus gave way to tears at John 11:33,35. Another comforting thought is to know the future of such ones. Isaiah 26:19 tells us about the promise our God has made to us to resurrect our loved ones from death. I hope this has brought you even the slightest comfort, please know that Jehovah the God of all comfort will always be there comforting you through trials (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). If you are interested in more bible based comfort this is a good article: https://jw.org/en/publications/magazines/g201407/tragedy-loss-loved-one/
