Obituary for James Patrick O'Neill
James Patrick O’Neill, age 64 of Clarkson, Mississauga, Ontario left us suddenly on February 14th 2022.
James was born on July 29th, 1957 in Dublin, Ireland where he lived for the first 18 years of his life. Like many young people, James loved to travel. After touring Europe he ended up in Denmark where he lived for many years. He was very proficient with languages and could speak fluent Danish within the year.
His career then took him to the north of England to Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. He worked in the Telecommunications industry and accomplished many outstanding performances in his field of work. It was here where he met his wife Wendy who he was married to for 34 years. He had two children, Chloe and Alexander who were the most important thing in his life.
Work again moved him and he settled in Mississauga, Canada in 1997 where he lived until his passing. He was a very popular guy and remained in touch with all his friends and acquaintances’ around the world, from Dublin, Copenhagen, Newcastle and Mississauga. A true friend to all.
James will be forever missed by all who knew him. He is remembered by his wife Wendy, Daughter Chloe, Son Alexander, Daughter-In-Law Nozomi, Mother Patricia, Sister Anna, niece Tracy, Sister Bernadette, Brother-In-Law Wayne, Nephews Adam and Luke, Brother David, Nephew Zack. Sister-In-Law Annette, Brother-In-Law David and Niece’s Sam and Holly and their families.
James’s wishes were for his ashes to be returned to his beloved homeland of Ireland .
A service for James will take place at Skinner & Middlebrook Funeral Home on Wednesday 23rd February at 3:00pm. Following this a reception at The Brogue Irish Pub (Nextdoor). As with all Irish wakes a final goodbye from his good friends at Doolins, Clarkson Road, Mississauga at 6pm for all who wish to attend.
