October 7, 1993 was the happiest day of our lives.
There wasn’t a cloud in the sky yet we were walking them.
Your tiny feet and hands were evidence of the privilege of the gift we had been given, a life we looked forward to spending with YOU for the rest of our lives.
You were a happy little boy who’s cooing sounds filed the house with joy.
When you learned to walk and talk you kept us very busy with your boundless energy and questions. Friday was always our favorite day because there would be no distractions from activities we would enjoy for the next two days.
As you grew you became a brave adventurer. Climbing trees, exploring bike trails, skiing Blue Mountain, jumping off the cliffs of Tobermory and playing in the waters of Georgian Bay and Huron. You loved music and a good campfire. You were always patient (you never groaned at the same ole’ five song repertoire Dad played on his guitar).
You were agreeable and helpful, kind and gentle. You were puzzled why the world couldn’t be peaceable. We will sorrily miss your gentle happy spirit. We will miss starring into your beautiful brown eyes as we planned our future adventures.
We look forward to the resurrection hope of everlasting life on a peaceful earth.
