Condolences

Condolence From: Janine Corbin
Condolence: Dear Uncle Gord,
Thank you so much for those summer days at Wonderland running to all of the coasters, then hearing you drown out The Beach Boys as you boogied and danced to the tunes. Growing up with you as my god father was my lucky lot. All of my love.

Condolence: Gord, you came into my life when I was 13. Little did I know the adventures that awaited- too many to recount but the parties, the concerts, the side trips to Atlantic City were so much fun; my god man you had more energy than ten men. My two oldest were born and you stepped up with John to be God Parents. You did not take this responsibility lightly, you guided, corrected, and most importantly included “Beans” and Kev in your life through thick and thin. I can never thank you enough for this sometimes thankless service that you were so happy to offer. Never did you shy away from the difficult conversations, I often squirmed when you questioned my motives, but you were just trying to understand our lives, how many friends do that with such sincerity and honesty? Not many. You are a special soul, a “King among Men” as Kevin would often say, and you were more than that to be sure, a loyal friend, a fierce advocate and a warm and loving person, no matter what. To say I will miss you doesn’t cover it at all. I will treasure our deep conversations, our disagreements, our love of music, our love of the “kids” and most of all your overwhelming love of life, your family and friends. You are the most authentic person I will ever meet, and I wish you all the best in your new residence. I just know it’s in Florida, your ultimate “Happy Place” God speed and Love. ❤️😘

Condolence: Uncle Gord, You were such a huge part of my entire life. You were my first and my last concert date, my roller coaster partner. One of the people helping me learn to drive, giving me my first car. Our many Coffee dates, dinner dates playing catch up through Phone calls and face time. So many amazing and memorable moments. You are gone from our lives way to soon, you will be forever missed, but in my heart you but will be a part of everything I do. Rest In Peace My dear Uncle.
