It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Gail at the Mississauga Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Sunday November 14th, 2021 in her 71st year after a year long battle with lung cancer.
Daughter of Cy and Edie Gardiner (predeceased), beloved sister of Kim, sister-in-law Liz, lovingly remembered by her nephew Michael, her niece Danielle (Kyle) and her cousin Corinne Cera.
A Memorial Service will be held November 22nd 11:00 a.m. at Skinner and Middlebrook Funeral Home, 128 Lakeshore Rd. E. Mississauga, Ontario L5G 1E4. Private Interment at Glendale Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers remembrances to the cancer society would be greatly appreciated.
Gail loved her family, and extended family very much. Upon her retirement with the Yellow Pages Group she stayed in touch with her many friends and colleagues she made over the years, and was very grateful for all the love and support they showed her during her first bout of cancer which she beat and her second bout of cancer that took her too soon.
Gail knew what she liked and never swayed from it. She was fiercely independent her whole life and never asked anything from anyone. Gail loved her Toronto Blue Jays, all cats on earth (any animal for that matter) and would happily challenge anyone to a good board game.
No more suffering may you rest in peace.
