It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of this beautiful woman, Doris “Dot” Marie Kavanagh, originally from Hopeall, NL, living for the past 50 years in Mississauga, Ont., aged 76 years.

Doris was predeceased by her parents Selby and Lily Piercey, in laws Stan and Henrietta Kavanagh brothers Walter and Roland, sisters Cassie and Patsy, brother in laws Albert, Edward, and Stan, sister in law Angeline(Edward), as well as grandchildren Jason, Cory, Andrew, David.

She was a friend to all who knew her and had a kind word for everyone. She will be missed tremendously.

Leaving to Mourn her loving husband of 60 years William, loving children: Gary, Sharon, Bill, Stanley, Sandra (Tony) and David (Deanna). Grandchildren Dwayne (Racheal), Marley, Rodney, Shannon (Shawn), Nicole (Manny), Billy, Diane, Jason, Gareth (Samantha), Dawna (Kenan), David Myles, Taylor. Great grandchildren; Shane, Cory, Summer, Jason, Blake, Blair, Joshua, Jasmine, Emilia, Abby, Makaela, Mason, Atticus , Maya, Lexie, Abigail. Also leaving to mourn brother Chesley (Louise), brother in law Denzil, sister in laws Kay, Jeanie(Dave) Sadie (Ches), Agnes, special niece Pauline, as well and a large number of nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Mrs. Kavanagh is resting at the funeral home of Skinner & Middlebrook Ltd, 128 Lakeshore Rd.E. Mississauga on Wednesday, Nov 27 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm

Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, Nov 28th at 11am. Cremation.

A gathering and celebration of Doris’s life will be held following the funeral in the party room at 3020 Queen Frederica Dr.
