Born and raised in Lakeview Betty was a proud mom, aunt, nana and loving wife to Ronald Hudson wood (predeseased 2006) for over 50 years. Just young kids when met (13 &16) Betty met Ron at a square dance and married December 31,1957. She had a tough upbringing and is the last of her 6 siblings. Mom to daughters bev (millar) and bonnie (power). Favourite son in law she always said to Randy (Power). Nana to Ryan & Ashleigh (Will) Millar & Matthew (Valentina) Power. Always a mom and nana to go to for anything you need she was a caring honest hard working social butterfly who enjoyed helping wherever she could especially at family reunions in her back yard! Loving Auntie Bett to her nieces and nephews. Many great memories with mom/nana be it in living room making tents with blankets for fun winter camping, watching old movies, Lego towers, walks and bike rides to marina she not very often missed baseball games with grandson Matthew. She was always there for family first! No more struggling to breathe anymore mom. It's time to dance with dad again, Happy anniversary you're together again he's been waiting for that dance 16 years!
