My deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband, Andrew Irwin on behalf of Russian people. While I know that mere words cannot console you, I wanted you to know that for Russian people, Andrew will never be forgotten for his fight against the Germans. Every year in the Russian cities of Murmansk and Arkhangelsk, people like Andrew Irwin are remembered for their great help to bring victory during WWII. I served in the Soviet Navy in Murmansk and I've been in those ceremonies. He is a True Hero for Canadians and Russians. Andrew Irwin will never be forgotten.
