Born and raised in Port Credit I have been involved with the family funeral home ever since I can remember. As a young boy I was helping my father W. John Insley with tasks such as maintenance, snow removal, cleaning vehicles, and greeting our local residents. In 1975, while I was still attending Port Credit Secondary School I worked a regular shift with the funeral directors and that's where I appreciated the value of what a funeral director means to their community. In 1981, I obtained my Ontario Funeral Directors Licence and presently continue as Co-Owner and Managing Funeral Director of Skinner & Middlebrook Ltd .
Together with my wife Deanna, we have four lovely children and live in Port Credit. Serving our community, it has been my pleasure to be a member of St Andrews Memorial Presbyterian Church, Hockey Coach in Port Credit for more than twenty five years, Lacrosse Coach in Mississauga and Mimico, and a Past President for the Lions Club of Credit Valley.
